Ventura. Heenan was extremely entertaining, but all the attention went to what he was doing. For the most part, he was never able to put over a match on commentary the way Ventura was. I peter graham find myself getting something out of even the crappiest match if Ventura is on his game because of the way he presented it as a legitimate competition with things allied brands you are supposed to do and things you aren't. And if a wrestler did something stupid, even if it was someone Ventura liked like Rick Rude or Randy Savage, he would call them on it, like any real sports commentator would. He was a heel, but he was a baskin robbins australia believable one who had credibility which is why in the age of kayfabe, Ventura got some of the biggest pops on the roster. Heenan was heel through and through (supporting the heels at all times and against the faces at all times). He was a particularly great one, possibly the best ever, but he is still held back by that blog limitation.
